Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions about our service.
How do I collect and return equipment?
We will arrange delivery and collection to your desired location, whether at home, an Airbnb, a hotel or another address. Please check out our how it works and delivery and returns pages for further details.
What areas do you cover?
We offer free delivery and collection across Bournemouth and Poole postcodes BH1 - BH 23. Items can be shipped via courier to areas outside these postcodes, and an additional fee may be applied.
How do I know how much the courier fee will be?
If you require an item delivered outside of Bournemouth or Poole, contact us before booking. Courier charges will be calculated and quoted at the best rate from the courier service.
What if the equipment gets damaged or lost?
We allow for a natural amount of wear and tear. However, if the item is damaged or lost, it is the hirer's responsibility to replace it. For further information, please check out our terms and conditions page.
Is a deposit required?
We require a small deposit which is charged to your card on the first day of hire and released when the item is returned. The deposit will only be drawn if an issue has been identified on return.
Do you offer delivery to airports?
We offer delivery and collection to and from Bournemouth and Southampton airports. We can track flights to ensure your item/s are ready and waiting for your arrival. Additional fees will apply for airport services.
How do I check the condition of the item when it is delivered?
All items will be delivered with a full condition report, including photographs of any existing wear and tear. You are responsible for checking the reporting upon delivery. If you have any concerns, these should be raised with customer.services@thebubbahub.com within 12 hours of delivery.
Will car seats be fitted?
A member of the Bubba Hub team shows the driver how to correctly install the seat in the car and get the child into the seat. It remains the driver's responsibility to ensure the safe carriage of all passengers.
Are all car seats bought from new?
All of our car seats have been bought new. They all comply with the lasted regulations R129 and are I-size compatible.
What should I do if the car seat is involved in an incident?
If the car seat is involved in an incident, you must report it straight away to customer.services@thebubbahub.com. The seat will be removed from stock. If a replacement is required, we will endeavour to get this to you within 24 hours, depending on the stock availability.
What is the maximum length of rental?
Items can be rented for as long as the item is available. Prices detailed on the website are for short-term rental (1- 3 weeks). Should you require longer items, please get in touch with us at enqueiries@thebubbahub.com, where we will provide you with a discounted price for long-term rental.
How are items cleaned?
If the car seat is involved in an incident, you must report it straight away to customer.services@thebubbahub.com. The seat will be removed from stock. If a replacement is required, we will endeavour to get this to you within 24 hours, depending on the stock availability.
Can I extend my rental?
Extension requests should be made in advance and can be agreed upon as long as the item is available.
